In this case, Palworld player DaD_Maiden bred a four-star Direhowl with three speed-related passive skills, making for a super-fast mount. To create Midnight, DaD_Maiden had to breed several eggs to collect the ideal speedy passives, in addition to capturing several other Direhowls to use in a Pal Essense Condenser to max out its Partner Skill at level 5.
The big key to Midnight’s incredible speed was the use of passive skills in Palworld. This speedy Direhowl uses the Lucky passive in addition to three speed-related skills: Swift, Runner, and Nimble, which altogether increase speed by an impressive 60%. To increase the Direhowl’s speed even further, the difficult-to-acquire Legend passive skill could be used to attain an additional 15% increase in movement speed. Beyond this selective and time-consuming breeding process, DaD_Maiden also chose to fully level up their Pal’s Partner Skill in order to maximize speed. Other curious players inquired about whether a Pal’s stars truly increase speed, and so Midnight was put to the test against a Level 1 Direhowl. The player claims that, at least in the case of Direhowl, there is about a 10% increase in speed with a four-star Pal.
