This list offers some insight into the best farming spots in Act 1. From a loot trove that can be endlessly reset to the best area for circuit farming that players can repeat to maximize their gains.

5 Mausoleum of the Praetor

Go For The Loot, Press The Reset Button, Repeat

The Mausoleum of the Praetor hides a secret room near the place where the boss is. It is basically a treasure trove, and more often than not, offers a chance for some Unique items and extra gold for the players if they know how to farm it fast. So, the best approach for this particular spot is to teleport inside, look for the treasure room (players will know they're in the right place because there's a checkpoint), avoid as many enemies as possible, and then loot the room. By rule of thumb, moving in an 'L' pattern from the entrance to the north side of the dungeon will most likely end with players stumbling on the secret treasure room.

The room can be accessed by activating a switch on a column, and it will reset alongside the instance when players use the button to reset it. This is done once players exit the instance: They need to access the reset instance menu (CTRL+Left Click on PC - Triangle on PS - Y on Xbox). Rinse and repeat as many times as possible to get loads of gold and items.

4 Hunting Grounds

An Easy Way To Farm A Boss And Wisps

The Hunting Grounds involves an entirely different kind of farming than the previous location. Here, players can farm a boss that is particularly easy to kill: The Crowbell. This creature hides in one of the corners of the map, so if players teleport there, they will most likely find it there. Look for a bramblethorn tunnel leading to a circular arena, and the spawning spot of the boss will be close by, with the entrance next to a checkpoint.

Players can also farm Azmerian Wisps in the Hunting Grounds, making getting those precious Dawn of the Hunt Talismans much easier than just going blindly looking for them. These wisps tend to spawn either next to the Feythorn entrance or near the Hunting Grounds teleport.

3 Ogham Farmlands

A Square-Shaped Farming Area With Tons Of Loot

Ogham Farmlands is always brimming with opportunities to farm, such as Blacksmith Stashes, tons of Elites that can drop Exalted Orbs and other important loot, and more. The map is pretty much a straightforward square, so there's no chance they can miss any loot or have to roam endlessly to farm it.

Starting from the entrance, go to the left side, sweep around any monsters' chests and stashes on sight, then go to the right side, then up, then left. Rinse and repeat until the place is clear, then teleport outside and reset the instance. Ideally, players should first teleport to the Hunting Ground, look for the entrance to Ogham Village, and then reset the instance from there, so they know where to spot it next, facilitating the reset of the farming spot.

2 Ogham Village

Lots Of Elites, Strongboxes, And Enemies To Grind

Same as with Ogham Farmlands, the Village is quite easy to farm. Just following the trail of flames and dodging the exploding boars is enough to let players have tons of chances of slaying Elite monsters, pursuing the occasional Atzmeri Wisp, or opening Strongboxes.

All in all, Ogham Village offers a smooth farming route that, of course, is always procedurally generated, but sticks to the following PoIs: a central area with 2 elites, the Blacksmith's forge with another Elite monster and its minions, and 2 more elites near the Boss Area. The Boss can also be farmed since there's no better place to farm Unique Drops in Act 1 than by killing the Executioner.

1 The Manor Ramparts

The Best Farming Circuit In Act 1

The Manor Ramparts is yet another good farming spot for Quality items since it offers a decent amount of Elites, and swarming enemies that are easy to kite and counter, more so if players are using the Huntress with her Swirling Slash combo. Here, players will be able to find several Rare Chests and tons of enemies to farm, as well as a couple of Strongboxes depending on their luck with the RNG. Plus, since the layout of the map is almost always 'U' shaped, doing a circuit is possible.

To start the circuit, players can simply teleport to the Manor Ramparts from the Clearfell Encampment and reset the Instance by using the Ogham Manor entrance, reverse farming from the Ogham Manor entrance until they find the teleport, and warp to the Teleport inside the Manor to reset the instance once more.
