Path of Exile 2 shared an image that may indicate the arrival of the fourth act. Path of Exile 2 consists of different acts, through which players learn more about the game's narrative. They also earn rewards and unlock more content by completing quests.

Path of Exile 2 Version 0.3.0 release date announced August 29

Grinding Gear Games has released three acts of the Path of Exile 2 campaign so far. These acts are available in early access and feature 23 quests — 13 of which are main quests and 10 are non-mandatory, meaning they can be skipped. Despite this, players should not ignore them, as these quests, although optional, reward players with buffs and other perks. The three Path of Exile 2 acts must be completed twice, the second time on a higher difficulty, unlocking the endgame content. Path of Exile 2 players are eagerly waiting to learn more about the game's campaign, and one post may have good news.

Cryptic Path of Exile 2 Teaser May Indicate the Arrival of Act 4

On Twitter, the official Path of Exile 2 account shared an image that may indicate the release of Act 4. Although the tweet did not offer further details, the well-known creator of the Path of Exile 2 loot filter, Neversink, replied to the tweet speculating that the image is a “stealth announcement” of Act 4. They base their theory on the shape of the symbols, which remind them of the runes of Kalguur, the region where the characters from the Path of Exile 2 Settlers of Kalguur update come from. The image shows a note found in the ruins of Oriath, with mysterious symbols from an ancient language.

The mysterious teaser appeared on social media a few weeks before Path of Exile 2 update 0.3.0 and Season 3, which Grinding Gear Games will release on Friday, August 29. The announcement of Version 0.3.0 on the official forum confirmed that Path of Exile 2 will introduce a new League and a brand-new economy for players to experience the upcoming content. The post also confirmed that Path of Exile 2 will follow the release schedule of the first game, getting a new League every four months. Therefore, after Version 0.3.0, the next major update will come out in December.

While the anticipated August 29 update has yet to arrive, Grinding Gear Games continues to work on new content for Path of Exile 2. Meanwhile, it will also bring Path of Exile 2 to Gamescom 2025, hosting a special Boss Rush event. Using a pre-made character, players will have 20 minutes to defeat 15 bosses, most of which have not yet appeared in Path of Exile 2.
