Heart of the Well Diamond is a Unique Jewel in Path of Exile 2 that is considered one of the most valuable items in the game. How to Get the Heart of the Well Diamond in Path of Exile 2
Heart of the Well Diamond is a Unique Jewel that is guaranteed to drop from Level 48+ Lichborn Exiles in Path of Exile 2. Lichborn Exiles are Rogue Exiles who have been corrupted by the Abyss and can be encountered either by killing a Rogue Exile near an Abyssal Pit to spawn a Lichborn Exile, or by exploring the Abyssal Depths or the Dark Domain in Level 48+ maps.
Due to its low-level requirements, this Jewel can be obtained in the campaign as well.
In the endgame, players can increase Rogue Exiles spawn rate in maps by investing in the top section of the Atlas passive skill tree, drastically increasing the possibility of encountering a Lichborn.
How to Use the Heart of the Well Diamond in Path of Exile 2
When dropped, a Heart of the Well Diamond will have four unidentified Desecrated Modifiers that can be revealed at the Well of Souls in Path of Exile 2. When revealed, each Desecrated Modifier will give players three choices they can select from, which will then be affixed on the Jewel.
All four Desecrated Modifiers on the Heart of the Well Diamond can be rerolled twice by using the Omen of Abyssal Echoes before each reroll, doubling players’ chances of creating the perfect item. Do note, however, that each individual reveal will consume one Omen of Abyssal Echoes, meaning you’ll need four in total to reroll every modifier on the Jewel.
Only one Heart of the Well Diamond can be used per character in PoE 2.
Is the Heart of the Well Diamond Worth Using in Path of Exile 2
Heart of the Well Diamond is one of the most valuable Jewels in PoE 2. Not only does it let players pick and choose between three different modifiers for each of its rolls, but it also offers certain modifiers that are either not available at all or are stronger variations of what’s possible with a regular Rare Jewel, making this a desirable choice for some builds in PoE 2.
Better yet, since Heart of the Well Diamond’s Desecrated Modifiers work with the Omen of Abyssal Echoes, the item is extremely useful for creating a highly customized, personal Jewel for certain builds. Even players who have no need for the Heart of the Well Diamond can sell the unidentified versions of the item for multiple Divines on the PoE 2 trade market to those interested in gambling for the perfect roll, making it one of the most profitable items to farm.
