Sigil of Power is a powerful support skill for mage builds in Path of Exile 2, allowing characters standing within its radius to vastly increase the potency of their spells. Playstyles that focus on casting spells while standing still benefit immensely from this skill.
Players who want to obtain Sigil of Power might find themselves confused, however, as it does not seem to be available in any of the menus when they go to engrave a Skill Gem. This is by design, as this skill isn’t obtainable by regular means.

How to Get Sigil of Power
Sigil of Power is a weapon-exclusive Skill that can only be obtained by equipping a Chiming Staff in Path of Exile 2. You cannot engrave it on an Uncut Skill Gem. You need to have a Chiming Staff actively equipped to make use of this ability.
All Chiming Staff variants, including the Uniques, Sire of Shards and The Burden of Shadows, grant the Sigil of Power Skill when equipped. The level of this Skill corresponds to the item level of the weapon, with level 7 being the lowest, since Chiming Staves only start dropping at Level 25.
The item level of the Chiming Staff is directly related to the area level where you obtain it. A Chiming Staff that drops from a level 50 enemy will have item level 50, for example.
How to Increase Sigil of Power Level
The maximum level of Sigil of Power you can obtain by default is Level 20. Using a Vaal Orb on a Chiming Staff that has Sigil of Power will not increase it past this level. However, it is possible to artificially increase the level of Sigil of Power from global modifiers like “+X to Level of All Spell Skills.”
Level 20 Sigils of Power Chiming Staves only drop from Level 90+ monsters in the endgame of PoE 2, but can be found for relatively cheap on the trade market.
The area of effect of the Sigil of Power can be increased by increasing the quality of the Chiming Staff using an Arcanist’s Etcher. At max quality, the Sigil radius increases from 3 meters to 3.8 meters, significantly increasing the area where it is active.
