The Ferryman is a point of interest in the Interludes section of Path of Exile 2's campaign that may confuse players. Unlike other POIs that are relatively obvious, the Ferryman is one that is easy to miss, especially for players who aren't exploring every section of the map.
Players who want to complete everything there is to do in the campaign will want to know exactly how to find the Ferryman in order to mark the area as 100% complete. Here's the breakdown.
Path of Exile 2: Ulaman, Amanamu, Kurgal Modifiers Explained
Some Omens in Path of Exile 2 guarantee Ulaman, Amanamu, and Kurgal modifiers on Desecration attempts. Here is what they mean.
Where to Find the Ferryman in Path of Exile 2
Soul of the Ferryman Location
The Ferryman point of interest refers to an NPC called the "Soul of the Ferryman," who can be found in Holten during the Interludes Act 5.1 in Path of Exile 2. Holten can be accessed by first going through Blackwood, and the Ferryman can be found directly in the middle of the map, next to a boat docked at a small harbor.
Although the maps in PoE 2 are randomly generated, the general layout and relative locations of notable points of interest within the campaign maps remain the same. In Holten, the Ferryman's location is directly northwest of the Waypoint, accessible by taking the left route and circling around as shown in the screenshot above. Small details within the map may change, but the overall structure of the map layout will be identical.
Does the Ferryman Restock in Path of Exile 2?
How to Reset the Ferryman
The Ferryman is a vendor who sells nine Greater Runes for 2,046 Gold each. Once purchased, his inventory will be gone forever. Unlike other vendors, the Ferryman does not restock any more Greater Runes after his shop is cleared out. Resetting the instance, leveling up, or progressing the game does not refresh his inventory.
Sometimes the Ferryman POI does not disappear from the world map even after you've emptied the NPC's entire shop. This is only a visual bug and has no bearing on gameplay.
