Although it may not be obvious, the game gives you a hint about how to get to know the Scoutmaster in PEAK quite early on. New players will have probably opened the journal on the Shore at least once, and from it, they will also learn the most important rule of survival:

Never abandon a friend in need!

This rule is more than just a simple tip for team play; it literally gives players a way to summon the Scoutmaster in PEAK. All you need to do is get as far away from your friends as possible. We recommend leaving them at the very start and going to the top of the mountain. Once you get far enough, you will be able to meet the Scoutmaster in PEAK, or rather, with what is left of him.

This huge skeleton will chase you until it catches you, after which it will throw you off the cliff. In most cases, players will not be able to survive this fall. As a reward, you will receive a Mentorship Badge.

How to Summon the Scoutmaster in Solo PEAK Runs

If you are playing solo, the first method of finding the Scoutmaster in PEAK is obviously not available to you. But do not despair, because you have an alternative way. You need to use the Scoutmaster Bugle. It can be found with an extremely low chance in Ancient Luggage or statues.

After that, you will need to use the Scoutmaster Bugle to summon the Scoutmaster. The skeleton will start chasing you and try to kill you. But unlike in multiplayer, in a solo run, you have a chance to survive this encounter. A minute after the summoning, the Scoutmaster will despawn, so you will have to keep running away from him during this time. Of course, this is a difficult challenge to survive, so you will want to eat food that gives bonus stamina.
