How to Get the Animal Serenading Badge in PEAK

The new co-op climbing game PEAK has some tough mountains for players to conquer. But if you are up for an extra challenge, you can go for the achievement badges. There are 32 achievements in total, and each one asks you to do something different. Completing them unlocks stunning cosmetics so you can customize your scout.

One of these achievements is called Animal Serenading. From the name, it’s clearly about animals, but the game doesn’t explain what you actually need to do. So today, this guide will show you exactly how to complete the Animal Serenading badge in PEAK.

How to Complete the Animal Serenading Achievement in PEAK

To complete the Animal Serenading achievement, all players need to do is find a Capybara and play the bugle in front of it.

If you think playing the bugle in front of Capybaras is easy, the real challenge is finding them first. They are only found in the Alpine biome, which is the third area in PEAK. It’s a cold place, and frost can be a real problem. To stay warm, gamers should bring along items like the Faerie Lantern or a Heat Pack if they have them. They will help you keep going without freezing up.

Once you make it to the Alpine, you will need to look for a hot spring. That’s where the Capybaras like to hang out. Scouts can spot these hot springs from far away thanks to the smoke rising from them. But here’s the tricky part: PEAK’s map resets every day, so the location of the hot springs (and the Capybaras) changes daily. If you can’t find them, we recommend checking out the game’s Discord.

Once you find them, all you need to do is play a bugle near them. Any bugle can be used for this purpose. There are three in the game:

Bugle
Bugle of Friendship
Scoutmaster’s Bugle

The regular Bugle is the easiest and can be found in the plane when you first start the game. Then there’s the Bugle of Friendship, which gives you infinite stamina for a short time. Players can find this one in ancient luggage or from statue loot. The last one is the Scoutmaster’s Bugle, which you should only use if you also want the Mentorship badge, because it will summon the Scoutmaster.
