And if that’s not enough, you can take on the new badges for an extra challenge. The game already had around 40 of them, and the ROOTS update has introduced 11 more. They might be tough, but they are also what make PEAK so much fun to play.

By completing these achievements, you can unlock cosmetics. One of the most popular ones right now is the Plague Doctor Outfit. To get it, you will need to complete a tricky achievement. Here’s how you can do it and get your hands on the Plague Doctor Outfit in PEAK.

How to Get the Plague Doctor Outfit in PEAK

To get the Plague Doctor Outfit, players will need to finish the Tread Lightly achievement. It’s one of the tougher ones out there since you have to make it through the new Roots biome without letting your spore level go over 25%.

Spores are a new kind of debuff added with the Roots update, and you will only find them in the new biome. The main thing you’ll want to watch out for is zombies. Getting bitten by one is basically game over. You can still heal yourself with items like Cure-All, but you won’t be able to complete the achievement.

You’ll also want to stay away from the purple clouds. These are spore zones, and entering them will start building up spores. It’s okay to pass through if you really have to, but don’t stay there too long.

PEAK players will notice brown dots appearing on their stamina bar. The section below those dots shows how much spore damage you have taken. The longer you stay in a spore zone, the more it increases.

It would be a good idea to drink Fortified Milk before going into a spore zone. It gives you temporary armor that blocks damage for a short time.

And, whatever you do, stay away from Bombshrooms. These explode when you touch them and release spores. If you do get hit with them, make sure to heal yourself quickly. Apart from the Cure-All, scouts can also use Medicinal Root, an Antidote, or a First Aid Kit to recover their health.

Once you finish your run, you’ll unlock the Plague Doctor Outfit. Players can equip it at the airport.
