PEAK: How to Get the Ultimate Badge

Clearing PEAK’s big biomes is already tough with all the dangerous items around, but if you want an extra challenge, you can try to complete the game’s achievements (or badges). The base game had 32 of them, and now, the Mesa update has added 10 more. One of those is the Ultimate Badge.

The Ultimate achievement is actually really easy to complete once you know what to do. And you don’t even have to finish a run to earn it! But if you don’t know the trick, it can be a little confusing. So, here’s exactly how to unlock the Ultimate Badge in PEAK.

How to Get the Ultimate Badge (PEAK Frisbee Achievement)

To get the Ultimate Badge, you just need to catch a Flying Disk from 100 meters away. The Flying Disk (basically a Frisbee) was added to the game in the Mesa update, and you can find it early on. After your plane crashes and your PEAK run begins, go to the crash site, and you should see it. If you are playing with friends, you can also have one of them pick it up instead.

Once your friend has the frisbee, have them stand about 100 meters away from you. They will throw it, and your job is just to catch it. The hardest part is making sure they aim well, especially if you are in a location with tricky terrain.

One thing that can make the Ultimate Badge a little hard is making sure you and your friend are far enough apart. If you’re not sure that they are exactly 100 meters away, there’s an easy way to check. For that, go to a campfire and try to light it without your friend nearby. The game will show you a message saying you can’t light it without them, and it will also show you their exact distance.

This takes all the guesswork out of it. From what we’ve seen, you need to be at least 100 meters apart, but going a little over is fine too. Just don’t go under, or it won’t count for the badge.

Ultimate Badge Reward in PEAK

Like other achievements, the Ultimate Badge comes with a cosmetic reward. Once the player unlocks it, they will get a cool-looking visor that their character can wear.
