How To Get The Foraging Badge in PEAK

Foraging Badge PEAK

To get the Foraging Badge, you need to eat five different types of berries in a single run. This is one of the simplest badges to earn in PEAK. If you want to get the Foraging Badge early in your run, you need to thoroughly explore both the Shore and Tropics biomes.

A good strategy is to start in the Shore for Crisperries, then move to the Tropics to collect as many different types as possible, and if needed, finish up in the Alpine for Winterberries.

Even if a berry is poisonous, it still counts towards the badge requirement. However, they may cause negative status effects when consumed. These effects don’t last long, but it’s best to avoid eating them.

Once you've eaten five different berry types during a single run, the Foraging Badge will automatically unlock.

Types of Berries in PEAK

Biome

Type of Berry

Location

Shore

Crispberries (Red or Green)

Found on bushes near the coast.

Tropics

Berrynanas

Found hanging from vine-covered trees. Easy to spot because of their bright colors.

Kingberries

Large, rare berries found on tall trees.

Scorchberries

Spicy berries that grow on red-tinted bushes.

Clusterberries

Small berry clusters growing along vines. These vines are poisonous to touch.

Alpine

Winterberries (Orange and Yellow)

Orange Winterberries grow on small trees, while Yellow Winterberries are rare and spawn on top of Capybara heads.

Napberries

Extremely rare berries found on small saplings.

While they’re not technically berries, eating a tick does count toward the five berries needed to earn the Foraging Badge. You can find these in the Tropics as well. Ticks can also latch onto your body, and you can pick them off to eat them for this badge.

Reward

Earning the Foraging Badge in PEAK unlocks a quirky cosmetic reward: a facial expression where your character sticks out their tongue or “Tongue Mouth”. It's a fun and playful addition that stands out during climbs and in the airport lobby.
