Decarabia is a Persona of the Fool Arcana, and you'll need to fuse one if you intend on filling out the Compendium in Persona 3 Reload. Even if you choose not to use Decarabia in your battles, it's a useful Persona to "unlock" since it can be used in various dryad fusions. When you first start out in your Persona 3 Reload playthrough, Decarabia's fusion won't be accessible. You'll need a special key item that's found on the Tziah Block in Tartarus.

The Pentagram Stone can be obtained by defeating the Isolated Castle on Floor 143 (Tziah Block). This Gatekeeper Shadow has no weaknesses and will null all magic (except Almighty). You'll most likely not have a Persona that can dish out devastating Almighty damage just yet, so you'll want to bring Personas that can buff/debuff and use Physical Skills. Recommended party members are Yukari for healing, and Akihiko and Aigis for physical attacks. Both Akihiko and Aigis have buffs that can increase your evasion/accuracy and attack respectively.

Once you have the Pentagram Stone, you can start fusing Decarabia in the Velvet Room. Here are several fusions you can try:

More Information About Decarabia

persona 3 reload decarabia

Decarabia's base level is 54, which means you won't be able to fuse it unless you're level 54 or higher. Decarabia has all-around stats, but its Skill List consists of Magic and Passive Skills. It has no resistances, but it is weak to Slash Skills. However, if you manage to raise Decarabia to level 60, it will learn the Null Slash Skill, which negates its only weakness.

You'll likely end up with a different Skill Set depending on which Personas you're using to fuse Decarabia. Despite this, it has access to Megidola, which is a tier lower than Megidolaon. Until you can have a Persona with Megidolaon, Decarabia will be able to target enemies that null most affinities, such as the Supreme Hand on the first half of the Yabbashah Block.

If you decide to use Decarabia to fuse another Persona, then you may want to consider leveling it up to where it learns Null Slash. This is a great passive Skill for your other Personas to inherit.

Decarabia Build Tips

  • If you want to use Decarabia in combat, then you'll want to get rid of its Affinity weakness (i.e, Slash). You'll run into plenty of powerful enemies on the higher floors of Tartarus that primarily use Slash Skills, like Brave Blade and Vorpal Blade. If Decarabia doesn't have this weakness covered, then the protagonist could be in trouble.
  • You should also consider getting Null Dark and Null Light to eliminate the chance of being insta-killed by Mudo and Hama spells. Finally, be sure to replace its Invigorate 2 with Invigorate 3, or Fast Heal with Insta-Heal. These Skills can be obtained as Skill Cards from Mayoido Antiques or Shuffle Time.
  • If you're worried about Decarabia's stats, then you'll want to use Incense to increase them. It's recommended you focus on Magic and Agility, but if you have enough Skill Cards, you can change Decarabia into a physical battler.
  • Alternatively, you can set up Decarabia for Support. You'll need Skill Cards for this, but you can keep Invigorate 2 (or 3) and Tetrakarn. Other buffs and debuffs like Matarukaja and Marakunda are also recommended if you're going for a more supportive role.
