Barring a few exceptions, almost every single character in the game has a new voice actor when compared to the original Persona 3. The same case applies for the upcoming playable epilogue DLC.
Episode Aigis: The Answer is a part of Persona 3 Reload's Expansion Pass, a pack of post-launch DLC that has been steadily released in waves throughout 2024. The Answer is a playable epilogue taking place after the events of Persona 3's story, where Aigis meets a new Anti-Shadow Weapon named Metis. With The Answer DLC's imminent September release, Atlus released a new trailer focused on Metis, showing off her abilities and confirming the character's voice actress for the first time.
The trailer briefly goes over Metis' role in Persona 3 Reload, introducing herself as Aigis' "sister", due to them being the same type of Anti-Shadow Weapons. The trailer also confirms that Lizzie Freeman will be the voice of Metis for Reload's English dub, replacing her original actor from FES, Stephanie Sheh. For the Japanese audio, Metis is played by Chiwa Saito, her original voice actor from FES. This is the first time in over 17 years that Saito is reprising the role of Metis, as Metis is a largely forgotten character in Persona 3.

Metis' original actor, Stephanie Sheh, is a well-known voice actor who previously played characters like Orihime Inoue from Bleach, Kyrie from Devil May Cry, and Hinata Hyuga from Naruto. Metis' new actor, Lizzie Freeman, is also a well-known talent, being the English dub voice for Trish Una from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Teucer and Yanfei from Genshin Impact, and Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus, just to name a few roles. Many fans were ecstatic to hear Freeman's take on Metis' character in Persona 3 Reload.
The trailer also briefly goes over some of the new social interactions with Metis in The Answer DLC, such as drinking coffee with Aigis and Ken, along with her combat abilities. In the original Persona 3 FES, Metis essentially replaces Aigis' role, due to the latter being able to use multiple Personas and losing access to her old abilities. Metis is a well-balanced Persona user who has no weaknesses, focuses on physical attacks, and has some specialization in ice and wind skills. A lot of her abilities from FES have been retained for Reload, with Metis inheriting Aigis' Orgia Mode Theurgy. The Answer DLC will be released on September 10, 2024.
