Persona 4 Golden: Dojima Social Link Guide

Ryotaru Dojima is often considered a highlight of Persona 4. With a tragic backstory of his wife being killed in a hit-and-run, a difficult relationship between his work life and his home life, and his role as uncle to the protagonist and single father to his daughter Nanako, there's plenty to make him appeal to any sort of player delving into Persona 4 for the first time or the dozenth time.

One of the best things about Dojima is definitely his Social Links, too. With one of the best examples of character development and storytelling in much of the Persona franchise, the storyline alone is well worth exploring. Plus, even if the story is less important for a player compared to gameplay, once they max out his Social Links, they'll get a special item they can use on one of the strongest Persona in the game.

Unlike some other Social Links that can be found in Persona 4, Dojima's Social Link is unlocked automatically after May 6. The only thing players will really need to put a bit of time and effort into is their Expression rank - this is an absolute necessity for achieving the first few Ranks. Other than that, it might be helpful to put a little time into Courage, too, as this can unlock some answers players otherwise wouldn't be able to select.

On top of this, something very important to remember is that in Persona 4, players can earn bonus affinity in Social Links by ensuring that there is a Persona in their party that matches the Arcana of the character in the Social Link. In this instance, Dojima's Arcana is the Hierophant, so keeping a Persona of the Hierophant Arcana in the party will give a big bonus to responses that award points. In the lists below, the points we have listed act as though the player has a Persona with the Hierophant Arcana in their party.

Dojima is consistently easy to find, as he usually spends his evenings at the Dojima Residence alongside Nanako and the player. That being said, it's important to note that the last day to max out Dojima's Social Link is November 3.

After completing Dojima's final Social Link at Rank 10, he will give the player a Coffee Mug. After receiving the Coffee Mug, players can use it to fuse Kohryu.
