Sayoko Uehara serves as the Death Social Link in Persona 4 Golden. She can be a bit tricky, and saying/doing the wrong thing can delay the Social Link. However, it's required to at least get the Devil Social Link to Rank 4 if they want the Death Social Link.

The Devil Social Link is an evening-only Social Link that can be unlocked via the part-time hospital janitor job. Persona 4 Golden players will want to make sure they're being consistent with their Social Stats. If their Diligence is too low, they won't be able to start the Social Link.

Where to Find Sayoko

Players can get the part-time hospital job as early as May 25th, and only if they have Level 3 Diligence. The job can be picked up from the bulletin board by Aiya's in North Shopping District. Like the part-time tutoring job, the Devil Social Link is only available during the evening. Players will need to leave from the bus stop in the South Shopping District on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday nights.

Sayoko's Social Link can't be Reversed, but players should draw fortunes at Tatsuhime Shrine to get more points since even the better replies to Sayoko mostly give two points instead of three. Since she's an Evening Social Link, the protagonist can't spend free time with her during the afternoons. Unlike his classmates, Sayoko will not contact the protagonist to hang out, meaning the only way to get more points towards her Social Link is to read fortunes, or work at the hospital in-between Ranks.

The protagonist will receive a minimum of 5000 yen as payment for working at the hospital. In addition to this, he will get one point towards his Courage. If players read the 100 Ghost Stories book (available at the Book Store in South Shopping District on June 11th), then the Courage points are doubled.

Players will need to work the hospital job twice before they can meet Sayoko Uehara. So, work two evenings in a row (Wednesday and Thursday) to speed up the process.

Players will unlock the Death Social Link during the Devil Social Link's Rank 3 to Rank 4. Hisano Kuroda (Death) can be found at the Samegawa Flood Plain (by the fishing spot) on Sundays and holidays. Seeing Hisano at the hospital will not unlock the Social Link itself, so the protagonist will need to visit her during Free Time. When speaking to Hisano, choose whichever answer. There aren't any points to be gained towards the Death Social Link just yet.

Since this is the final rank in the Devil Social Link, responses here won't matter and won't add any points. During Rank 10, Sayoko states she's leaving the hospital. However, the protagonist can still work the hospital job if players need some more pocket change.

Upon completing Rank 10, Sayoko will give the protagonist the Hospital ID Key Item, which allows players to fuse the ultimate Persona of the Devil Arcana, Beelzebub. Aside from having the required Personas, the protagonist will need to be level 81 or higher in order to Fuse this Persona, and he'll also need to have access to Hexagon Fusions. Since the Hospital ID will carry over into NG+, players will be able to Fuse Beelzebub (if they didn't on their first run) as early as July 10th. However, a Fused Persona will gain an experience boost depending on the rank of its respective Social Link. A Beelzebub created before reaching Rank 10 of Sayoko's Social Link will get less of an exp boost than a Beelzebub fused after.
