As Persona 4 Golden players progress through the main story, they'll unlock more things to do around Inaba. One of these includes finding a part-time job for the protagonist. There are seven to choose from, but only three of them are needed for Social Links. The tutoring job will take up the protagonist's evening, but it's how P4G players can start the Tower Social Link.
Shu Nakajima is a middle school student and serves as the Tower Social Link in Persona 4 Golden. Unfortunately, his Social Link also has a difficult requirement. Players also may have noticed that the part-time tutoring job is only accessible in the evening, and at the start of P4G, it won't be possible to go out at night. Since the availability/time of Shu's Social Link is shared with the Dojimas, Adachi, and Sayoko (ie: evening-only), players will need to use their free time wisely.
Where to Find Shu
The protagonist can pick up a part-time job at the bulletin board near the Aiya Restaurant in North Shopping District. Players can start the part-time tutoring job as early as May 25th on a NG+. If this is a brand new playthrough, then there's no way players will have level 5 Understanding to start the Social Link. Players can build up their Understanding by doing the Origami Crane part-time job or the Daycare job (available on 4/23) which also requires Understanding to start.
It's very likely that players won't be able to start the Tower Social Link until they're at the midway point on a first playthrough. As long as they're being consistent with their Social Stats, of course. Once the protagonist can start the Tower Social Link, it's highly recommended that he has a Persona of the Tower Arcana in his party. Having a Persona with a matching Arcana will add an extra point to "correct" responses during the Social Link.
Persona 4 Golden players can do the part-time tutoring job on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights by interacting with the bus stop in the South Shopping District, directly across from the gas station. For doing the tutoring job, the protagonist will earn 10000 yen and a point towards Expression every visit.
If players are having a hard time getting Social Link points in between visits, they should go to Tatsuhime Shrine and draw a Fortune for Shu. Drawing Fortunes at the Shrine will waste free time.

Once players have level 5 Understanding, they can take the bus stop across from the gas station in the South Shopping District to start the tutoring job. As the first rank, the responses here won't have as much weight (ie: gain points) as they will in later ranks. However, choosing any of the three responses in the second "question" will add a point towards one of the protagonist's Knowledge and one other Social Stat depending on the subject.

The choices in Rank 9 to Rank 10 will generate the same number of Social Link points regardless of what's chosen. Thus, players should just choose whichever response they prefer. Once Shu's Social Link reaches Rank 10, there's no need to visit again.
Social Link Completion Reward
As a reward for helping Shu, the protagonist will get the Test Results Key Item. For maxing out the Social Link, they'll be able to fuse the ultimate form of the Tower Arcana, Shiva. The Test Results, which unlocks the Fusion for Shiva, will carry into NG+.
