The title will reportedly be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, though it's unclear whether a Nintendo Switch 2 launch is planned. The report doesn't come as too much of a shock, as Persona 3 Reload appeared at the Xbox Games Showcase in 2023. More fuel was also added to the remake rumors last week, with three original Persona 4 voice actors confirming via social media that they had not been asked to return for the new project.

The Persona 4 Remake May Be Revealed During Sunday's 2025 Xbox Games Showcase

Persona 3 Reload was a massive hit for Atlus, selling a million units in its first week and becoming the fastest-selling game in the series. Earlier this year, rumors surfaced regarding more Persona remakes in the works at Atlus, with the studio potentially also planning a remaster of Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, featuring new translations and quality of life improvements. In May, Persona 5: The Phantom X confirmed its release in the West, with the gacha title slated to launch for PC and mobile devices on June 26.
