Each time players increase a Synergy Rank with these characters, they will unlock loads of rewards like Money, Crystals, Weapon Materials, Persona Materials, and more. Ranks go from 1 to 20, and unlock special perks at ranks 5, 15, and 20.
If players Prioritize a Bond, the chances of going on an outing with the 'acomplices' will increase exponentially. But beware, not all characters prefer the same hour to hang out. How To Reach Soulmate Rank With A Companion
By increasing Synergy ranks with certain characters in Persona 5: The Phantom X, you can unlock a special kind of relationship with them. Merope will automatically become your 'exclusive Concierge' by reaching Synergy Rank 17 with her, and that's that; players cannot romance her. Other characters like Yui and Lufel are friendship locked, which means they cannot become something more than friends with them. Still, unlocking the Best Friends status will reward players with special emojis, frames and Avatars.
Players can romance Motoha, Tomoko, or Yaoling Li, but they cannot romance all three at the same time (sorry, no Harem Route here), by increasing their level to Soulmate (Lvl. 15). Players can only pick one Soulmate option, and one Best Friend option,
Be careful, though, once players have chosen a Soulmate and a Best Friend, they cannot regret their choice. So they should choose carefully and prioritize the character that fits them the best.
