Mishima will tell Joker about the request "Winners Don't Use Cheats" on 9/4. Talk to gamers in the arcade in Shibuya to get the request in Mementos against an enemy you won't be able to beat. You'll then hear about the King Of Gun About who is Shinya, who will request that you prove you know the Phantom Thieves. Talk to Futaba to hack the Gun About website then the confidant will officially begin once you talk to Shinya again.

Get Yusuke to Rank 2 and he will mention a Shogi player who plays at the church. Beginning the social link will require Rank 3 Charm to get her attention and begin the confidant.

Yoshida can first be found on 5/6 where Joker can listen to his speech and ask how he can help out. You'll then need to work two shifts at the Beef Bowl shop Ore-no-Beko. You can get a job here by finding a flyer in the Shibuya Underground, and during the second shift, Yoshida will appear and invite you to help at his next speech, where the confidant officially begins.
