No trope is as iconic in anime shows as maid characters. Here are the most famous maids in anime history.

To complete this request, the Phantom Thieves must locate a Forgotten Desire that is housed in the Sendai Jail, though its precise location may not be immediately obvious, as it’s pretty hidden amongst the rooftops. For those players who may find themselves stuck, here’s a bit of help

Updated October 31st, 2023 by Jacob Buchalter: Persona 5 and the Persona IP as a whole seems like it's made its way into the upper echelons of game IPs that never die down in popularity alongside other IPs such as Pokemon, World of Warcraft, or Super Mario. Because of this, Persona 5 has received many spinoff games such as the upcoming Persona 5 Tactica, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and of course Persona 5: Strikers. While Strikers isn't entirely a 'Musou Persona' game, it's pretty close. And, while Musou fans are clearing out all their side objective in this game, they'll likely come across a Request called Trapped in a Nightmare. So, let's go over exactly where to find the Forgotten Desire this Request is asking about.

Objective Item

Sendai Jail

Rooftop

3x Jail Guards & 3 Guard Dogs (all optional encounters)

1x Forgotten Desire

  1. Go to the Hirose Street Checkpoint in the Sendai Jail Dungeon.
  2. From there, just head into the alleyway to find a climbable pipe/pole to get onto the nearby rooftops.
  3. After reaching the rooftop and Ambushing (or sneaking past) the Jail Guard on the roof, start hopping across the Floating Gems and Transparent Platforms.
  4. Use these platforms and gems to navigate to the row of rooftops on the far west side. To summarize it a bit easier, from the first rooftop jump across one gap of Gems, then another gap of Transparent Platforms directly in front of Joker, and then some more Gems on the right-hand side.
  5. After reaching the last building with the Jail Guard guarding that Elegant Paper Crane, run off the far side of the building directly behind where the Guard was to land on the platform with the Forgotten Desire on it.

Rewards On Route To Forgotten Desire & From Request As A Whole

Persona 5 Strikers - Jumping Down To Grab The Forgotten Desire

Rewards

New Items at Sophia's Shop

1x Butterfly Fan

2x Lovely Empty Bottle

1x Elegant Paper Crane

1x Skin Ripper (Whip)

Let's be a bit more specific about the rewards gained from doing all this. First, there will be new accessories available at Sophia's Shop, just like how the previous Trapped request from Morgana (called Trapped in Wonderland, centered in the Shibuya dungeon), also adds accessories to Sophia's inventory.

Also, there should be a few Material drops found along the path to the Forgotten Desire, as well as a chest directly across from the platform with the Forgotten Desire that holds a Skin Ripper, a whip for Panther that has a low chance of Fearing enemies.

Honestly, between the checkpoint and the Forgotten Desire Morgana’s Request is for, there aren’t too many enemies. At most, players will encounter three Guard Dogs that spawn some Orthrus (who are weak to ice) and a Jail Guard or two that spawn some Beriths (also weak to ice). Because of this, if Joker and the Phantom Thieves aren’t overleveled (or maxed out on Bond Skills), Yusuke (AKA Fox) is a good counter for this sidequest run, as well as any Joker-based Persona with Bufula-type spells.

But, if players are completing this request long after the Sendai Jail is done and don’t care about their team setup or the exp gained from these level 12-15 enemies, the only battle that is even slightly mandatory is the single Berith/Orthrus encounter on the roof directly above the platform holding the Forgotten Desire. Let's be real, avoiding enemies as often as one does in Persona 5: Strikers is one of the big differences between it and Persona 5: Royal.

This Isn’t The Last Trapped-Type Request

It’s worth mentioning that Trapped in a Nightmare is certainly not the last time that fans will be on the hunt for Forgotten Desires, as Morgana has several more requests that pop up at different dates. Those requests will have players searching Sapporo, Okinawa, Kyoto, Osaka, the Abyss, and the Tree of Knowledge, and they all offer unique rewards.

Additionally, completing those side quests will push fans ever closer to earning the Those Who Heed the Call and 'What are Friends For?' Achievements/Trophies, which is nice to know for those hunting that ever-elusive Platinum Trophy (though Game Pass users can't do this anymore with Persona 5: Royal, unfortunately).
