Half a dozen Persona games are currently available at historically low prices on Steam. The newly introduced discounts are all part of a Persona franchise sale that is set to run for the next week.
The PC versions of the 3D Persona games typically go on sale every few months. However, Sega often discounts those titles individually rather than putting them on sale all at once.
Persona 6 Could Turn Over a New Leaf for the Series by Following One P4 Social Link Trend
One Social Link concept introduced in Persona 4 could make a rousing comeback if Persona 6 follows up on it with its own Social Links.
Persona 3 Reload Drops to Lowest-Ever Steam Price
This time around, the Japanese publisher is doing a more comprehensive promotion in the form of a Persona franchise sale that went live on Monday, August 12. The star of the newly introduced promo is the critically acclaimed Persona 3 Reload, which has been discounted by 40%. The offer brings it down to $41.99, which is its lowest-ever price since its February 2024 release. All of the game's day-one DLC packs that unlock new costumes, music, and some overpowered personas have been discounted by 25% as part of the same promo as well.

Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal have also received hefty price cuts amounting to 40% and 60%, respectively. The offers bring both JRGPs down to their historically low prices. Ditto for the 70% discounts on Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona 5 Strikers, as well as the 40%-off deal on Persona 5 Tactica. While P5 Tactica and P5 Strikers have a few pieces of additional content that are sold separately, P4 Golden and P5 Royal are content-complete packages.
Another deal available as part of Sega's newest sale is that on the Persona Collection bundle, which includes P4 Golden, P5 Royal, and Persona 3 Portable. While this tri-pack is normally 5% cheaper than buying its included games individually, it can currently be picked up at 47% off. That discount brings Persona Collection down to its lowest-ever price of $53.17. It's also the only way to pick up the PC version of P3 Portable for less than full price right now, as that's the only series entry that hasn't been discounted individually as part of this summer promo.
All of the newly launched offers are available until next Monday, August 19. The sale itself is a great overall opportunity for newcomers to dive into the franchise at an affordable price point, while also allowing long-time fans to fill out their game collections by picking up some of the more niche Persona spin-offs without breaking the bank.

Persona is an RPG franchise developed and published by Atlus, spun off from its larger Megami Tensei franchise. Originally releasing in 1996 under the name Revelations: Persona, the series typically follows a core group of High School students who have access to Personas, physical manifestations of a person's psyche and subconscious, to do battle in combat. Newer games in the franchise, starting with Persona 3, have introduced the idea of Social Links, which lets players further strengthen and evolve Personas based on time spent with their owners outside of dungeons.
