Forest Minions serve as loyal servants to the Forest Spirit, and collecting them can have a direct impact on both the map and the haunting. To encourage participation, Kinetic Games is testing a new reward system tied to the event. How to Find Forest Minions

The Cursed Hollow event runs from April 17 to May 7. During this period, players receive special objectives aimed at dispelling the Forest Spirit's haunted locations, which rotate daily, allowing players the opportunity to experience the event across a wide variety of maps. Nest icons on the map selection screen indicate which areas are currently affected by the Forest Spirit.

Before setting out to hunt Forest Minions, players should equip the following items to improve their chances of success:

Tier I, II, or III D.O.T.S. Projector (Required)
Flashlight (Optional)
Sanity Medication (Optional)

Upon arriving at a map haunted by the Forest Spirit, players will notice distinct visual changes: twigs, broken egg nests, and glowing green jars with fluttering bugs scattered across the area. Forest Minions hide in the nests and cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Using a D.O.T.S. Projector will reveal the minions. Players must shine the projector directly on a nest; if a Forest Minion is present, it will briefly appear before hopping away and vanishing. Whispering or chattering sounds may also indicate a nearby minion. Once all Forest Minions on a map are collected, the Forest Spirit reacts, sometimes providing benefits, other times introducing new challenges.

Bringing Sanity Medication is recommended to counteract any adverse effects from these encounters..

Because the spirit's location changes daily, players are encouraged to revisit the game frequently to experience every haunted map and maximize their event progress.

Cursed Hollow Event Rewards

Players earn both Community and Personal Rewards during the Cursed Hollow event. Event points are displayed at the bottom of the contract screen under "Easter Event Team Point," with each Forest Minion found earning 2 points.

In addition to collecting Forest Minions, players can earn extra points by correctly identifying the ghost (+10 Points) and completing optional objectives (+3 Points) during hunts. Progress can be tracked on the Event Board.

The reward split system is a new feature Kinetic Games is testing, designed to ensure all players benefit from the event even if they have not unlocked every map.
