Phasmophobia is getting a new map, Nell's Diner, on November 11. The upcoming level will mark Phasmophobia's 14th map.
Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games originally revealed Nell's Diner in early August 2025. Designed in the style of a long-abandoned retro restaurant, the map was described as being smaller in scale. At the time, the British studio said it was targeting a late 2025 launch, without committing to a more precise timeframe.

Phasmophobia's Nell's Diner Gets Release Date and New Trailer
Two and a half months later, Kinetic has now replaced that vague launch window with a concrete release date—November 11, revealed via a new trailer. As has been the case with all prior Phasmophobia content drops, Nell's Diner will be an entirely free addition to the game. It's set to arrive in the form of an update that will have a same-day release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Size-wise, Nell's Diner is comparable to smaller Phasmophobia maps such as 10 Ridgeview Court, 6 Tanglewood Drive, and 42 Edgefield Road. This should make it as accessible as possible, since the size of a level is proportional to the average length of any given ghost hunt. The prevailing opinion among the fandom is that while larger maps such as Prison and Asylum are just as atmospheric as their smaller counterparts, the extra search radius often makes them more annoying than scary as players scramble for clues, often running out of Sanity before their investigation really gets going.
Nell's Diner should be free of such issues, as it consists of but a few compact sublocations, including the dining area, storage room, and kitchen. Elaborating on the decision to design such a level, Kinetic Games Director Daniel Knight revealed that the Phasmophobia team had long considered a creepy diner a perfect thematic fit for the game. "Alongside the farmhouse reworks from this year, Nell’s is an example of how we want all the maps in Phasmophobia to feel going forward," the lead developer said in a prepared statement. "It’s unique, and has been meticulously designed to tell more of a story to our players—beyond the immediate ghost they’re hunting."

Nell's Diner is one of the last remaining items from Phasmophobia's 2025 content roadmap that has yet to materialize. Following its November 11 release, Kinetic is expected to focus on finishing the game's annual holiday season event. Based on the studio's announcement cadence, the 2026 roadmap may be teased around Christmas, but it's unlikely to be fully revealed before late January or early February. Although Phasmophobia still doesn't have a firm 1.0 release date, it is expected to leave early access in the near future, possibly before its sixth anniversary in September 2026. Kinetic previously suggested the game will continue receiving content updates after leaving early access, though their frequency and scope may decrease.
