Here's how you can turn on Crossplay and play with friends on different platforms.

How to Enable Crossplay in ARC Raiders

Before players can join or invite their friends from other platforms to venture out of Speranza and onto Topside, they'll first have to turn on Crossplay in ARC Raiders. While you can spot this option when launching the game for the first time, majority of players might miss it as it'll require you to head into all settings instead of just continuing.

However, you can still enable Crossplay once you've landed in the main menu. Here's how to do it.

Click on the settings icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen, right under the Play button.
Head into the first tab called "Gameplay."
Scroll down, and you'll see the "Crossplay" setting right under the Online section.
Crossplay might be turned on by default, but if it's not, simply turn it on.

Players can also change region for ARC Raiders in this section, which will help them get better ping/latency in matches.

How to Add, Invite, or Join Friends in ARC Raiders (Find Embark ID)

Once you've turned on Crossplay, you'll need to invite your friends over. The first thing you'll need to do is add them to your friend's list. The Crossplay works by connecting all ARC Raiders players through the Embark ID, and you'll need to find your ID in order to help your friends add you.

Follow the method below to add friends in ARC Raiders.

Click on the "+" Icon over the Play button next to your display picture to enter the friend/party menu.
From here, click on the "Manage Embark ID" button in the bottom-left section to open an Embark ID management portal.
You'll arrive at a screen where you'll be required to log into either a Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, or Xbox account.
Once you've completed the sign-in process, you'll be taken to the Embark ID portal.

In the portal, look under "Display Name" and you'll find your Embark ID, which will be something along the lines of "USERNAME#1234." Share this ID with your friends on either the same or different platforms (Crossplay), and they'll be able to send you a friend request. Once you accept it, you'll be able to team up with them.

If you already have an Embark ID from your friends and just want to add them, simply click on the "Add Friends" button in the top-right corner of the friends/party menu in ARC Raiders and enter their Embark ID in the window. Once you've done, click OK to send them a friend request.

And that's it, now you and your friends on other platforms will be able to team up with Crossplay in ARC Raiders and head out on expeditions together.
