PlayStation: The Concert Gets Canceled

Sony gamers who had intended on attending the PlayStation: The Concert in the US started expressing concern when emails began going out indicating that some of the shows had been canceled. Initially, it seemed as thought it might have only been a few shows, but the program's organizer GEA Live has now confirmed that PlayStation: The Concert has had its 2025 shows in the US completely canceled. The team apologized and acknowledged the disappointment of fans, but provided no information as to why the shows in the EU or in the United States had been canceled. For the moment, only the 2025 shows seem to be impacted. The US tour was slated to kick off on October 11, with the first show to be hosted in New York City at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

With no official reason provided for the canceled shows, fans have been left wondering. It's possible that poor ticket sales were to blame for the cancellations. In the EU, some attendees reported shows with few in attendance, though that wasn't the case for all the performances. Currently, PlayStation: The Concert's website indicates that shows will be held across the US starting in January 2026, continuing through the end of March, with "more dates coming soon." A look at a few popular venues on the list showed a great number of tickets were sold, though there were also a considerable amount still available, so fans interested in the video game concert should consider taking a look.
