10 Best Mega Man Spinoffs, Ranked
Outside of the mainline games, there are loads of other adventures that take place in the Mega Man universe in various spin-off series.
Instead of following the usual Mega Man heroes, the game is centered around the series' antihero, known as Tron Bonne, a part of a criminal family of air pirates. Playing as Tron, the player must engage in a series of robberies to pay off her family’s debts to another rival band of air pirates. Receiving “okay” reception overall, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne wasn’t exactly a popular game at the time of its release, but due to its low amount of printed copies, it has become a rare and valuable title among PS1 collectors.

Best FromSoftware Games, Ranked
FromSoftware's long roster of games is full of excellence. From Dark Souls to Armored Core 6 and Nightreign, here's how the best titles rank up.
Developed by FromSoftware, now known for their infamous Souls games, Kuon takes place sometime in Japan’s Heian period around a thousand years ago. Fans will play one of three exorcist characters as they traverse through Fujiwara Manor, solving puzzles and collecting items to rid the manor of its haunted nature. Even as far as survival horror games go, Kuon definitely has some pretty dark and frightening moments. While it was praised for its unique story and setting, the gameplay itself was mostly mixed, which led to low sales overall, and its now rare and expensive status today.

7 Best Games Where You Run A Hotel
These are the best games that let players try their hand at running and managing a hotel.
Also known simply as The Hilton Family, this is a rather simple simulation title where players take on the role of an average worker at one of the titular Hilton hotel locations. The gameplay consists of completing various tasks around the hotel, such as cleaning rooms, interacting with customers, etc., with the end goal of achieving a high rating overall. The game was designed to be a training utility for new hotel workers, and while it may not have exactly been a “groundbreaking” title, its low exposure to the general PSP player base at the time has made it an incredibly rare commodity today.
PlayStation 3 - Aquanaut's Holiday: Hidden Memories
Search For Rarest Fish In The Rarest PS3 Game
- Complete in Box Price: ~$400 USD
Aquanaut's Holiday: Hidden Memories is a lesser-known and pretty obscure PlayStation 3 title from 2008, released as part of the Aquanaut's Holiday series of games that started back on the PS1 in 1995.
8 Best Games Where You Can Explore The Deep Ocean
The deep ocean is a perfect setting full of mystery, and these games are a fantastic gateway for players to explore it further.
This obscure title has a mix of both adventure and simulation all around. The main playable character is an unnamed journalist, whose objective is to explore various underwater expanses in Polynesia to search for a missing oceanographer. Most of Hidden Memories plays pretty casually with solving mini-mysteries and cataloging various fish, making up the bulk of its gameplay. Due to the game's low popularity and exclusive release in Asia, it's become one of the rarest and priciest games in the PS3 library.
PS Vita - VVVVVV
The Most Expensive Flash Game Ever
VVVVVV
- Released
- September 7, 2010
- Developer(s)
- Terry Cavanagh
- Genre(s)
- Action, Platformer
- Complete in Box Price: ~$1100 USD
While Sony's PS Vita may not have been a success overall, it does have its share of hidden gem titles, with VVVVVV being one of the rarest and most expensive on the handheld.
On the surface, it's a seemingly basic puzzler game created using Adobe Flash in 2010. The plot surrounds Captain Viridian, who must rescue five other crew members from an alternate dimension. The catch to this puzzle platformer is that there is no jumping; players instead have to reverse gravity to traverse through levels. What makes VVVVVV so sought-after is the fact that it was never “fully” released, as the only known physical versions of the game to exist were promo copies that were accidentally released in some stores, making the game demand a pretty penny nowadays.

Originally known as Aban Hawkins & the 1000 Spikes, the PS4 version titled 1001 Spikes shares many similarities with the previously mentioned VVVVVV, not only in being puzzle platformers, but with both also having a hefty price tag nowadays.
9 Best Platform Hell Games, Ranked
Players who are into the niche genre of platform hell titles should check out these games.
As anyone could probably guess for a puzzle platformer with such a title, the game sees players dodging spikes while navigating through a whole collection of cave-like levels, with the simple goal of reaching the end in one piece. Again, much like VVVVVV, 1001 Spikes never technically saw a full release in physical form, with only a handful of known promotional copies existing in the wild. After those few copies were quickly scooped up, the game naturally became a rare and incredibly expensive sight.
