Tuesday, June 17 is set to be a big day for PlayStation Plus, especially those who are signed up for the Extra and Premium tiers. PlayStation Plus has had a rough go about it lately, with major games axed from the service and not enough new titles added to make up the difference. Time will tell how June 2025 shakes out, but things are already looking up.

This means that PS Plus subscribers will learn about the free games for June 2025 on Wednesday, May 28. PS Plus Bad Day Came at the Absolute Worst Time
PlayStation Plus recently suffered one of its worst days to date, and it couldn't have come at a worse time for the subscription service.
A fresh batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games is coming on June 17. We don't know the full extent of what the new game additions will entail, but we do know of at least one game that's coming to PlayStation Plus that day. It's been confirmed that FBC: Firebreak is a day one PS Plus Extra game, meaning Extra and Premium tier subscribers will get to play it in its entirety starting June 17. For the uninitiated, FBC: Firebreak is the next game from Remedy Entertainment. But while Remedy is primarily known for its cinematic single-player games, FBC: Firebreak is a co-op shooter set in the same universe as Control. In fact, it has players teaming up in the Oldest House, which is where Control was set.
FBC: Firebreak is Coming to PS Plus Extra on June 17
It's somewhat rare for PS Plus to get day one games. The last time this happened was when Blue Prince was added to PS Plus Extra, so FBC: Firebreak's debut alone is enough to make Tuesday, June 17 a busy one for subscribers. However, that day will be busy for another, less exciting reason as well. Not only will new PS Plus Extra and Premium games be added on June 17, but some titles will be removed from the service that same day as well.
