Vert Sector 3 is where you'll need to go to face off against Rogue Mega Dragonite as part of Main Mission 32 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. And like most of the other Rogue boss Pokemon you'll need to defeat, Dragonite is found on a rooftop in the sector; however, getting to the Dragon-type Pokemon isn't easy.

Dragonite turns into a Dragon/Flying-type when it transforms into its Mega evolution. This means you should bring Pokemon that know Fairy, Dragon, Ice, or Rock-type moves to deal extra damage.

How to Get to Rogue Mega Dragonite's Location in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Where's the Holovator?

To find the nearby elevator that'll take you closer to Rogue Mega Dragonite's location, you can start by fast traveling to the nearby Wild Zone 2.

  • Once you're standing right in front of the entrance gate, turn and walk to the right and go up the first staircase you see. Immediately turn left after the stairs and then walk a bit until you see a side area on the right.
  • You'll see some of the purple sludge blocking the way, so just u se a Water-type move to get rid of it. We've also found that some Psychic-type moves, like Confusion, will also "wash" the ooze away, but other moves like Psybeam don't have an effect.
  • You'll see the yellow elevator to your right (feel free to catch some of the Pokemon here if you need some XP).

Once you're on the rooftop, immediately turn around to see some scaffolding you can climb up (deal with the Alpha Dedenne --if you see it), and then keep walking to reach a platform you can hop off of to reach the lower building to the north. From here, you should be able to spot Dragonite in the distance, and it's just a straight shot to get to the battle with Taunie.
