A Pokemon fan has shared an impressive design they've come up with for a pair of Arbok-themed earrings. The design is unique and dramatic, and would likely catch a lot of attention for anyone wearing them, even among those who don't know anything about Pokemon.

As a Gen 1 Pokemon, there have been a lot of creative tributes to Arbok over the years. While the Pokemon secured fans in the original Pokemon Red and Blue, much of the fondness for Arbok developed due to its presence as a Team Rocket Pokemon in the original anime.

Now, a Pokemon fan called orion.the.jeweler has created an impressive design for a pair of Arbok earrings. The dramatic look was inspired by the artist opening a Pokemon TCG Pocket pack and receiving an Arbok card. A brief Instagram video shared by the artist demonstrates them opening the pack, followed by sketching out and modeling the design. A final render shows off their design of a dramatic pair of Arbok drop earrings. The hook of the earring is very long, allowing the Arbok to hang beneath the ear and then swoop back up, letting the Arbok "stand" like cobra snakes are often seen doing. The artist says they imagine the final production being made of a combination of 14k gold and enamel, though at this time, it seems they haven't produced the physical rendition yet.

Arbok Earrings Find Fans

Pokemon fans have been quick to praise the artist for their earrings, both on Instagram and Reddit. One fan joked that Jessie would want to know where to get these earrings, while another pointed out that the earrings bear a fair resemblance to Shiny Arbok, albeit with the false eyes on its body remaining red instead of turning blue. The artist calls Arbok one of their childhood favorites, so this tribute is all the more appropriate. While it seems like these earrings have yet to be made, the artist has a number of other Pokemon designs that they've created, like a series of Pokemon rings, that are available to buy through their Etsy store.

Although Arbok is still loved by many Pokemon fans, the creature hasn't received much of an update or attention from Game Freak in a long time. Outside of being able to Dynamax, Arbok has lacked any changes like a new variant, evolution, or form in the games. Judging from the Pokemon's lasting popularity, and prior fan artworks giving Arbok a Mega Evolution, there are a lot of fans who would probably be happy to see Arbok get some attention in a future Pokemon game.
