One of the most interesting creatures in the Pokemon franchise is Eevee with its numerous evolutions. That unique ability to transform into multiple different Pokemon has split fans across these evolutions, giving some more popularity than others. In a tribute to one of these Eevee-evolutions, one Pokemon fan created a great fan art of both Eevee and Glaceon.

Eevee, as well as its three original evolutions, was introduced in the first generation of Pokemon. The original trio of evolutions (Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon) now includes eight evolutions. Glaceon was introduced in the fourth generation of Pokemon and is the result of exposing an Eevee to an Ice Stone or leveling it up near an Ice Rock.

This fan art comes from poorguy95 on Reddit, and it shows off Eevee and its icy evolution, Glaceon, sitting together. In the lower right of the artwork sits Eevee, the Normal-type Pokemon which has featured in many players’ creations. This version of the Pokemon has one ear down, its eyes closed, and has its mouth wide open in a smile. To its left sits Glaceon, the Ice-type evolution that, while not a tall Pokemon, towers over Eevee in this fan art. Glaceon has its head tilted, and the artist matched the Pokemon’s colors and design perfectly. This Eevee-evolution is known for its sharp edged-ears and tail and those are conveyed really well.

There are plenty of Eevee evolutions to choose from and, as with picking a starter in Pokemon games, there is plenty of debate in the community as to which is the best. Regardless of personal preference, this representation of Glaceon shows off how well the original design conveys this Pokemon's type. Those players looking to get their hands on one of these in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, just need to expose their Eevee to an Ice Stone.

All Eevee evolutions have the same total base stats but divide those out into the base stat categories differently. Glaceon struggles with Health, Attack, and Speed and, because of this, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that it remains one of the less-appreciated of all the Eevee evolutions.

Then again, for those looking to evolve an Eevee with a focus on Special Attack, Glaceon and Espeon are the only reasonable options. The advantages of one over the other comes down to higher defense (Glaceon) or higher Speed (Espeon). Regardless of how players feel about Glaceon, this fan art does a great job showing off what makes this Pokemon memorable.
