The pocket monster was originally released as part of Gen 1, making up part of an evolution line that includes Arbok. Featuring a long, sinewy body and a rattle, Ekans has a viper-like appearance. In addition, the Pokemon has a vivid purple coloration, accented by sections of yellow. Recently, one gamer looked to this Pokemon’s design for inspiration when making their latest tasty creation.

Known for their impressive Pokemon-themed edible treats, Reddit user miscellaneousmao shared a video of their latest dessert, a vanilla roll cake that looked like Ekans. In the clip, the confectioner cut the end of the roll cake off, revealing the swirled design was reminiscent of the Pokemon. The cake had a purple hue and featured a gold band near the neck and at the tail, adding to the similarity. They even included the recognizably large yellow eye of Ekans.

While they were quite happy with how the final design turned out, three attempts were necessary to get the desired look.
