Described as a pseudo-legendary Pokemon, Dragonite is a dragon/flying-type monster known for its swift movement and powerful attacks. Compared to its first two evolutionary forms, Dragonair and Dratini, which are blue serpentine creatures, Dragonite is characterized as a bipedal dragon. Plus, because of its bright color and round body, many fans gravitate towards Dragonite, even buying adorable Squishmallow plushes of the dragon Pokemon.

One post from Fairie_Mimiki pointed out that Pokemon missed the opportunity to make Shiny Dragonite pink, just like Shiny Dratini and Shiny Dragonair. A good number of people in the comment section said that they refused to evolve their Shiny Dragonair in their rosters because they didn't like Shiny Dragonite's color.

On the other hand, there are also Pokemon fans who didn't seem to mind Shiny Dragonite's green shade, saying that it made the Pokemon look like an actual reptilian dragon. Some of them said that it looked like the character in Pete's Dragon, while others even gave theirs a cute name like "Pickles." Shiny Dragonite is also considered one of Pokemon GO's best-looking shinies because it stood out from other dragon Pokemon with brighter colors.

Despite the ongoing discussion about Shiny Dragonite's appearance, many players still want to catch their own Shiny Dratini in games like Pokemon GO and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In the latter, players can find Shiny Dratinis around the watchtowers in the northern and northeastern areas of Paldea. Whether they want to evolve a Shiny Dratini into a Shiny Dragonite is completely up to them, but it might be helpful to have at least one Dragonite in their team if they need it.
