You can encounter a wild Shiny Ditto in Pokemon GO randomly while you walk around in the wild. Since Ditto can imitate other Pokemon's appearance, it is very hard to spot it in the wild. Only after catching the Pokemon will you know if it's a Shiny Ditto or not.

While there is no guaranteed way to encounter a Shiny Ditto in the wild, strategically using some Pokemon GO items can boost your chances. The Weather Boost effect and items like Incense and Lure Modules can significantly increase wild Pokemon spawn rate. If you use these elements simultaneously, there is a chance to increase the wild Pokemon spawn rate and encounter a Shiny Ditto in Pokemon GO.

Ditto's Weather Boost triggers in partly cloudy places, increasing its wild spawn rate around such areas. Look for a PokeStop with the same weather and attach a Lure Module to it. After that, activate a Pokemon GO Incense and walk around the Lure's visible area of effect. This strategy can help spawn several Ditto and match its Shiny odds to encounter a Shiny Ditto in Pokemon GO.
