Pokemon GO has confirmed that Eevee will star in the next Community Day Classic event on July 5 and 6. Pokemon GO recently launched its new summer-themed season, which is expected to include several events until September 2025.

On June 3, Pokemon GO kicked off its Delightful Days season and confirmed multiple upcoming Pokemon debuts, including Hisuian Lilligant, Yamper, and Tatsugiri. The official trailer also featured some already-available fan-favorites like Jangmo-o, Hisuian Growlithe, and Eevee. Some fans believed that these could be hints of future limited events. Now, the developers have unveiled that Eevee is the protagonist for the season's Community Day Classic.

Pokemon GO unveils the full details of its upcoming Eggs-pedition Access in June, which lets players receive extra Incubators and bonuses.

Pokemon GO is holding a two-day Eevee Community Day Classic on Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6. On both days, the event will run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Eevee will spawn more frequently in the wild, and players have a chance of encountering its shiny forms. Fans can also evolve Eevee from the beginning of the event until July 12 to obtain an Eeveelution-specific Featured Attack. For example, Vaporeon will know Scald, while Flareon will know Superpower. Evolving Eevee in Pokemon GO can be tricky, but for Community Day Classic, the requirements to evolve Espeon and Umbreon will be decreased to exploring only 1 km with Eevee. Similarly, Sylveon will be obtainable with only seven hearts with Eevee as a buddy. These bonuses will last for up to a week following the event.

    • Umbreon will know the Charged Attack Psychic.
    • Leafeon will know the Fast Attack Bullet Seed.
    • Glaceon will know the Charged Attack Water Pulse.
    • Sylveon will know the Charged Attack Psyshock.

    • Limited-time Evolution requirement: Evolve Eevee into Espeon after exploring 1 km with Eevee as your buddy.**

Since Sylveon and other Eeveelutions are quite useful for PvP battles in Pokemon GO, Eevee's Community Day Classic could be great news for players. However, the developers haven't confirmed any evolution bonuses for Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, and Glaceon. Aside from these bonuses, the event will reduce egg-hatching distance to a quarter, and Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours. Additionally, players can log in during the event to receive Timed Research that awards an Eevee with a limited Delightful Days background. Fans can also purchase a $2 ticket that gives extra encounters with Eevee and its evolutions, a Premium Pass, and Rare Candy XL.

Eevee's event is one of the four Community Days scheduled during the Delightful Days season. It comes after Jangmo-o's first Community Day on June 21. Pokemon GO has a packed schedule in June as well, with GO Fest 2025 carrying out activities worldwide.
