Pokemon GO has announced the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event, which will give players their first opportunity to catch Paldea Pokemon Tandemaus and Maushold. The Pokemon GO event will also come with additional opportunities and bonuses.

Tandemaus debuted in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and is a bit unusual among the numerous pocket monsters, as it's technically two separate creatures acting as one Pokemon unit. When it evolves into Maushold, it changes to either four or three individual creatures, with a much lower chance of it being three.

Pokemon GO has been gradually adding new Pokemon to find and collect from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Paldea region. In a prior interview, the game's director talked about Pokemon GO's lack of new wild spawns. New additions are gradual, as the company doesn't want to run out of Pokemon to add before a new main-series game releases from Game Freak and Nintendo. However, with this slowing new additions down considerably, many players will likely be happy to add a new creature to their Pokedex.
