How To Get Heat Rotom In Pokemon GO
Heat Rotom is one of the many Pokemon that is debuting as part of the GO Fest 2024 event. However, unlike some of the other Pokemon that will be available in the game, Heat Rotom requires a special method to catch it. Heat Rotom is not available in the wild, and the only way players can catch it is through the GO Snapshot feature. While many players are already aware of how it works, it can be a bit tricky to do it. Here is how to use the GO Snapshot photobomb feature to catch Heat Rotom.
- Tap on any Pokemon and press the Camera button to open Snapshot mode. This applies to both wild Pokemon and your own Pokemon.
- Take a picture of the Pokemon.
- Check the picture you have taken to see if Heat Rotom has photobombed it.
- If Heat Rotom has appeared in the picture, head back to the in-game map to find Heat Rotom there.
- If not, repeat the process until you get heat Rotom in the snapshot.
Can Heat Rotom Be Shiny In Pokemon GO?
Niantic has not announced whether the shiny variant of Heat Rotom will be available in the game or not. As per player reports, there haven't been any encounters that confirm that the shiny variant was also released as part of the event.
This is not the first time that Niantic has not included a shiny variant of a Pokemon along with its debut, so it is not really surprising to see the developers opting for this approach instead. For the record, the other available Pokemon variants do not have shiny versions in the game as well. The only exception is the regular version of the Pokemon, which can be caught in its shiny form.
