How to Get Gligar and Gliscor in Pokemon GO

In Pokemon GO, Gligar can be found in the wild, but its spawn rate is tremendously low, though it is easier to get if players use Lure Modules and Incense during Sunny Weather. Gligar is known to spawn in certain areas with dry weather. Gligar can also be present as a reward for Great League Encounters, Field Research Task Encounters, and it is also present in 3-Star Raids.

Now, to get Gliscor in Pokemon GO, players need to get their hands on a Sinnoh Stone, and fetch 100 Gligar Candy. Feeding these items to Gligar will evolve it into Gliscor, though mind their CP, as some Gligar specimens are better left unevolved to use them in Great League. Gligar has a maximum CP of 2099 (at full IVs), but its optimal CP for Great League is 1500 (0/15/15), and it's considered one of the best of the best for this Trainer Battle category. Though its Shadow version is even more powerful, getting the perfect Shadow Gligar for Great League is a far shot.

Yes, Gligar and Gliscor can be obtained in Pokémon GO, and players can get a shiny Gligar either after beating it on 3-Star Raids or finding it on Wild Spawns or Hatched from Eggs. As with other rare shiny Pokemon, the chances of finding one in the wild are extremely low (1 in 131), though there are occasions like Community Days or Spotlight Hours where getting a shiny Gligar might become easier.

To ease things up for players that want to look for Shiny Gligar/Gliscor, there are a few strategies Trainers can use to increase their chances of encountering this elusive Pokemon:

Use Incense and Adventure Incense, and walk around PokeStops with Active Lure Modules.
Pay attention to Pokemon GO events, especially those that host Gligar among their featured Wild/Research spawns.
