Most Pokemon in Pokemon GO have their own Shiny form, but the chances of getting them in this form is much more difficult than their regular version. However, a lot of fans enjoy Shiny Hunting, despite the difficulty it poses, as it allows them to explore the world more and find a rare Pokemon to display in their collection.
Sometimes, events pop up that make it easier to find the Shiny version of a Pokemon. If you are currently on the hunt for a Shiny Spheal, there are some tips and tricks you can utilize to find the Pokemon in the wild.
Pokemon Go: Every Pokemon That Evolves With A Lure
There aren't many Pokemon in GO who evolve with the help of a lure. These are the ones who do.
How to Catch Shiny Spheal in Pokemon GO
The best way to look out for a Shiny Spheal while playing Pokemon GO is to take part in any l imited-time events where the Pokemon is present. One of the most recent events was the Spheal Spotlight Hour, which greatly increases the chance of spotting a Spheal in the wild. If you need an additional boost to come across a Spheal, it is a good idea to use your Daily Adventure Incense, and any other Incense you have on hand to attract the Pokemon. We also recommend using Lure Modules at any PokeStop to attract the Pokemon to the area. The more Spheal you come across, the higher chance you'll have of getting a Shiny Spheal.
The best way to quickly go about your Shiny Hunting process for Shiny Spheal is by quickly checking each Spheal's colors when they pop up, but not catching them all. This means when you find a Spheal, tap on it to begin the catching process, but if the Spheal is not the Shiny version, then leave the encounter and move onto the next Spheal. Shiny Spheals will have a pink color rather than blue, so they will be easy to spot. This method is a good way to save on your PokeBalls and Berries so you can have enough to use on the Shiny Spheal when it appears.
Outside the Spheal Spotlight Hour, make sure to look out for any Community Days or Raids in the future where Spheal is present, or take advantage of its weather boost in snowy and rainy weather. This will give you an even higher chance of spotting its Shiny form, with a boosted Shiny Rate. Otherwise, the Shiny Rate will be its standard 1 in 500, so you will just have to wait it out and go through as many Spheals as you can before spotting a Shiny.
Pokemon GO: How To Get Solar Fusion Energy & Lunar Fusion Energy Codes
There's a way you can prepare for the Go Fest Global 2024 in Pokemon GO and you don't have to wait until the event begins.
How to Evolve Shiny Spheal in Pokemon GO
Spheal has two evolutions that come after it: It will evolve into Sealeo, which can then evolve into Walrein. To evolve your Shiny Spheal into these forms, you will need to use the regular process to evolve Spheal, which includes:
- 25 Spheal Candy to evolve into Sealeo
- 100 Spheal Candy to evolve into Walrein
To get these large amounts of Spheal Candy, make sure to take advantage of the Spheal Spotlight Hour and catch as many Spheal as you can, as you will get Spheal Candies from each catch. During these events as well, you will get a 2x Catch Candy bonus, so it will take less time for you to get the amount of Candies you need.
