Pokemon GO has officially revealed the Journey to Paldea event set to hit the monster-catching mobile game, with three new Pokemon from the region set to be added. The massively popular mobile game has seen plenty of reasons for fans to get excited, officially revealing its newest season to launch in December. Pokemon GO recently unveiled its "Precious Paths" season, with a variety of new Pokemon, Dynamax forms, and even a new chance to get the Master Ball. Now, Pokemon GO has officially teased the first event coming to the game during its new season.

While Pokemon GO has kept some of its cards close to its chest with Precious Paths, the mobile game has begun to reveal some of the new additions coming with the season. Gigantamax Meowth serves as one of the major highlights of Pokemon GO's new season, alongside a teaser for a Dynamax Hitmonchan event during the season. Pokemon GO also hinted at multiple new Pokemon coming in Precious Paths, with the teaser visuals showing eighth-generation Pokemon Clobbopus and its evolution, Grapploct. Pokemon GO officially showcased the new Journey to Paldea event through the game's official social media channels. As the name would imply, Journey to Paldea puts the focus on the Spain-themed region featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with increased spawns for Pokemon found in Paldea. Pokemon GO will add three new Pokemon during Journey to Paldea, with Nacli joining the game along with its evolutions in Naclstack and Garganacl, alongside special three-star raids for Paldean Tauros, Bombirdier, and Dondozo. Pokemon GO's Journey to Paldea event will begin on December 2 and will run through December 9.

Pokemon GO's Journey to Paldea will offer plenty of chances to capture Paldean Pokemon already featured within the game. Each day of the event will feature increased spawn rates for different Pokemon found in the region, with popular Pokemon like Larvitar, Bagon, and Misdreavus included, among others. Pokemon GO is also boosting the spawn rates of the shiny versions of Larvitar and Bagon during the event, with the two alternating boosted days throughout the duration of Journey to Paldea.

The addition of Nacli to Pokemon GO with Journey to Paldea comes as the list of remaining Pokemon has dwindled significantly. Pokemon GO now has fewer than 100 Pokemon remaining to add to the game until the full roster of 1,025 creatures is included within the mobile game. Pokemon GO has also seen leaks about several Pokemon planned to join the game's roster, including multiple Pokemon like Ogerpon and Pecharunt featured within Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's DLC. Pokemon GO fans should have plenty to look forward to with the launch of Precious Paths next week.
