How to Get and Evolve Munchlax in Pokemon GO
During the event, Munchlax will hatch more frequently from 2 km eggs. Luckily, Munchlax doesn't have some complicated evolution method in Pokemon GO. It'll evolve into Snorlax by feeding it 50 Candy. You can set a Munchlax as your Buddy Pokemon if you need to gather some without needing to capture more Munchlax/hatch them from eggs.
Can Munchlax Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
Yes! Munchlax --and its evolution, Snorlax, can be shiny in Pokemon GO. Their shiny variants aren't that different from the regular colors, but as you can see in the images above, they have a darker, bluer color palette. And like other Hatch Day events, you should have a 1 in 10 chance of finding a shiny Munchlax.
