Pokemon GO players will be able to encounter Wooper at a higher rate than usual during Community Day, and a number of useful bonuses will be active for a limited time.

Every month, Pokemon GO hosts Community Day events to highlight a selected Pokemon. The limited-time event encourages new and returning Pokemon GO players to spend time searching for the featured Pokemon. As usual, the community may earn additional rewards that's useful for leveling up and strengthen Pokemon during Community Day. The November 2023 Community Day event continues the monthly tradition with Wooper and Paldean Wooper taking the spotlight.

Pokemon GO announces Party Play, a new feature that offers players a different way to gather friends and have fun with Niantic's game.

The Pokemon GO November 2023 Community Day event will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. During the event, Wooper and Paldean Wooper will appear more frequently in the wild, which means players have a higher chance of encountering a shiny version of Wooper. Pokemon GO players that evolve Wooper into Quadsire during the event and up to five hours afterward may learn the exclusive Aqua Tail Charged Attack. Moreover, those who evolve Paldean Wooper into Clodsire during the same eight-hour window can use the Megahorn Charged Attack. Like prior Pokemon GO Community Day events, a new Special Research story will be available for $1 or one gift ticket.

A variety of limited-time bonuses will be active during the November 2023 Community Day in Pokemon GO as well. These bonuses include 2x Candy drops for catching Pokemon, 1/4 egg hatching distances, 2x chance for level 31 players and up to earn Candy XL, an extra Special Trade, Lure Modules and Incense that last for three hours, 50% less Stardust cost while trading, and an opportunity to catch Smeargle in Pokemon GO. After Community Day ends, a special four-star raid event featuring Wooper and Paldean Wooper will be held from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time. Players who successfully complete these raids may activate increased Wooper encounter rates for 30 minutes. Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes are required to participate in the special raid event, however.

November 2023 Community Day Field Research tasks will give additional rewards to Pokemon GO players after catching Wooper and Paldean Wooper. These rewards include Stardust, Ultra Balls, and additional Wooper encounters to name a few. Additionally, Community Day bundles featuring Ultra Balls and other consumables will be available in the in-game shop during the event's short duration.

Although Pokemon GO fans were disappointed with past Community Day events, Niantic has the opportunity to provide a memorable event since Wooper is a very popular Pokemon. The event bonuses are vital to the Community Day experience every month, so Niantic should also ensure that the bonuses work as intended in Pokemon GO when the event begins on November 5.
