Pokemon GO is bringing back the Lucky Trinket as the main reward for the November 2025 GO Pass Deluxe that players can work toward. Trainers who reach rank 100 on the November Pokemon GO Pass track can encounter the Legendary monster Virizion in a special battle themed around the ongoing Tales of Transformation event.
Known as the Grassland Pokemon, Virizion first appeared in Pokemon Black and White as one of the Swords of Justice found throughout the Unova region. Virizion is a Grass and Fighting dual-type Pokemon known for its sleek, green form and high special defense statistics. Virizion was added to Pokemon GO in December 2019 as a Raid boss, with its shiny version made available the following May. Virizion can use fast attacks like Double Kick, and charged attacks like Leaf Blade, Stone Edge, and its signature move, Sacred Sword. However, Virizion's typing puts it at a major disadvantage against Flying, Fire, and Psychic Pokemon.

The Lucky Trinket Is Coming Back to Pokemon GO
The November 2025 Pokemon GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe will be available from November 4 to December 2, starting and ending at 10:00 AM local time. Ergo, Pokemon GO players have just a few days to enjoy the ongoing Halloween event before it concludes on November 2. Pokemon GO players who reach Rank 100 on the November GO Pass can encounter Virizion with a special background themed around the Tales of Transformation event. By purchasing a GO Pass Deluxe bundle starting at $7.99, Pokemon GO trainers can make progress faster and gain upgraded rewards. GO Pass ranks are earned by completing daily and weekly tasks, such as catching Pokemon, hatching Eggs, or participating in battles.
For reaching the maximum rank with the GO Pass Deluxe upgrade, Pokemon GO trainers can earn a Lucky Trinket that will allow a Great Friend or higher to become a Lucky Friend. Trading Pokemon with a Lucky Friend grants both Pokemon involved the Lucky status, which cuts the amount of Stardust needed to power them up in half and guarantees all their individual values (IVs) are no lower than 12.
The November 2025 GO Pass will run parallel to the upcoming Pokemon GO crossover event with the Pokemon TCG at retailers like GameStop and Best Buy. Both the November 2025 GO Pass and the Pokemon TCG crossover event will overlap between November 7 and 30, giving Pokemon GO players two major chances to score some rewards throughout the month.
