Pokemon GO October 2025 Community Day Pokemon Revealed

Pokemon GO has revealed that Solosis will be the October 2025 Community Day Pokemon. The next edition of the popular Pokemon GO event will take place in mid-October, giving players the chance to catch this pocket monster, along with other bonuses.

First seen in Unova, Solosis is a Pokemon with a peculiar design. This creature has a round green body enveloped in a substance, making it resemble a cell nucleus. When it reaches level 32, Solosis evolves into Duosion, which then evolves into Reuniclus at level 41. In Pokemon GO, Solosis was added at the beginning of the Psychic Spectacular 2020 event, with its Shiny and Shadow variants debuting in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Now, Solosis returns to the spotlight in Pokemon GO thanks to the upcoming event.

Pokemon GO to Feature Solosis as the October 2025 Community Day Critter

Pokemon GO has announced the October 2025 Community Day, which will feature Solosis. The event will take place on Sunday, October 12, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, and during this period, trainers will encounter the Psychic-type Pokemon more frequently in the wild. There will be a chance to encounter a shiny Solosis, or one with a special background. Players who evolve Duosion during the event or up to four hours afterward will get a Reuniclus that knows the Fast Attack Charm, a move with 13 power in trainer battles and 20 power in raids and gyms.

Date: Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time
Featured Pokemon: Solosis (spawn rate increased, can be shiny or have a special background)
Featured Attack
- Evolve Duosion (Solosis’s Evolution) during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get a Reuniclus that knows the Fast Attack Charm.
  - Trainer Battles: 13 power
  - Gyms and raids: 20 power
Event Bonuses
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokemon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract the featured Pokemon.*
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.*
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
*While most bonuses are only active during the three-hour event period, these will be active from 2 pm to 9 pm local time.
Lure Module Bonus
- From 2 pm to 9 pm local time, Solosis will have a very high chance of appearing at PokeStops with active regular Lure Modules. Solosis attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be shiny and may have a Special Background.

During the October 2025 Community Day, several bonuses will be available, including double Candy and triple Stardust when catching Pokemon, while Trades will cost half the Stardust. Meanwhile, from 2 PM to 9 PM, Solosis will have an increased chance of appearing at PokeStops with regular Lure Modules active. A Field Research and Special Research will be available for the event, the latter costing $1.99 and giving players rewards that include a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and extra encounters with Solosis, including the special background one. Also for $1.99, the Pokemon GO Web Store will sell an Ultra Box with a Special Research ticket and five Ultra Balls.

While the Solosis Community Day is still a ways off, Pokemon GO players will have other equally engaging activities to participate in until then. Indeedee will debut in Pokemon GO in an event starting on September 16, while Mega Latias and Mega Latios will be the stars of Raid Hour on September 17. Shadow Groudon will be another debut, featured in a Raid Weekend taking place on September 20–21.
