Pokemon GO's highly anticipated Dynamax update is here, and Power Spots and Max Particles are two of the new features that have been added as part of the update.
In order to get Pokemon that have the ability to Dynamax, players can take part in the ongoing Max Out Special Research. For those wondering what Power Spots and Max Particles are, here is all they need to know.
Pokemon GO: Power Spots, Explained
Power Spots were added in Pokemon GO on September 4th as part of the Max Out update. However, it should be noted that Power Spots will be available for use when the event properly kicks off on September 10th. Power Spots can be considered the Dynamax equivalent of PokeStops and Gyms. However, it should be noted that they will not be replacing PokeStops or Gyms altogether but they will be appearing alongside them. Another thing to note is that Power Spots don't spawn at fixed locations; their spawn will change every few days.
Players can look for purple orbs on the map to find power spots. There is another easier way of finding them, as they can head to the Nearby menu and look for nearby Power Spots there. Once at a Power Spot, players can use it to get Max Particles. If players have already acquired Max Particles from a Power Spot they will have to wait a bit to get them again. Players can get up to 800 Max Particles a day and 100 Max Particles from a Power Spot. Since Power Spots are similar to Gyms, players can also use Power Spots to take part in Dynamax Battles. Additionally, players can also place a Pokemon at a Power Spot if they manage to defeat the boss. This Pokemon will assist other trainers and players can earn candy in the process.

Another crucial item that players should farm in Pokemon GO is Max Particles. Max Particles are used to take part in Dynamax battles. That is, if players want to challenge a Pokemon in one of the Power Spots they will need to use Max Particles. Apart from that, there is another really important use, which is to level up Max Moves. Pokemon which can Dynamax will have a new type of move unlocked known as Max Moves. In order to unlock these Max Moves, players will have to spend Max Particles. Additionally, players also have the option to level up Max Moves using Max Particles as well.
