Summary
- Pokemon GO is increasing Remote Raids from five to 10 a day.
- The Max Particles limit will also increase from 1,000 to 1,500.
- Players will also have a limited time to participate in Shadow Raids and Max Battles.
Pokemon GO is officially raising the limit on Remote Raids from five to 10. Pokemon GO Remote Raid Passes were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic to give fans of the game the chance to continue participating in raids from the safety of their own home. Pokemon GO Remote Raid Passes have proven to be a popular addition to the augmented reality mobile game, as they also give fans in rural areas the chance to participate in raid battles that would otherwise be impossible for them to complete.
Pokemon GO features raids of varying difficulty, with the tougher raids giving players the chance to catch rarer Pokemon. Pokemon GO players in rural areas or those who can't easily find others to play with were basically locked out of participating in these events, preventing them from completing their Pokedex. Considering this, it's really no surprise that Remote Raids have been popular among Pokemon GO fans, who will now be happy to hear the limit on them is going up.

Then, starting May 19 at 11:00am PT, Pokemon GO players will be able to use Remote Raid Passes in conjunction with Max Particles to participate in Max Battles remotely. When is the Pokemon GO Remote Raid Limit Increasing?
- Remote Raids are being increased from five to 10 per day starting May 13 at 11:00am PT.
Pokemon GO players can also look forward to a permanent increase in their Max Particles limit. Max Particles are necessary for players to participate in Max Battles, and starting May 19 at 11:00am PT, their limit is being increased from 1,000 to 1,500. By increasing the number of Remote Raids and Max Particles, Pokemon GO players should find it a lot easier to engage with the game.

From Saturday, May 24 at 5:00pm PT to Sunday, May 25 at 8:00pm PT, the Pokemon GO Remote Raid limit will be increased from 10 all the way to 20. Needless to say, that weekend should be a big one for Pokemon GO players that want to battle in remote raids.
