Shared Skies Season in Pokemon GO - Start & End Times, Featured Pokemon, Changes, & More

Pokemon GO's 15th season has been revealed as Shared Skies, and is set to take place following the end of Season 14 - World of Wonders. Shared Skies is set to go live in-game on June 1, 2024, at 10 AM local time, with these details having first been revealed during the first day of the 2024 Pokemon Regional Championships in Los Angeles. Much like previous seasons in Pokemon GO, the Shared Skies season will run for three months in total, with many different events such as Spotlight Hours, and Raid Hours. Community Days, and more taking place along the way.

In a teaser trailer for this upcoming Shared Skies season, the presence of multiple Ultra Beasts indicates that they will continue to have a presence in this season following their feature in season 14's Ultra Space Wonders event. In addition to the involvement of Ultra Beasts, many other Mythical and Legendary Pokemon also made an appearance in this teaser trailer, indicating that Trainers are more than likely to have an opportunity to encounter them during Shared Skies. Most significantly, Mega Rayquaza can be seen soaring through the sky, which would mark the first return of this Mega Evolution since it made its in-game debut.

There have also been a few changes revealed for this upcoming Shared Skies season involving the GO Battle League. Shared Skies will make new moves available to certain Pokemon, while some other moves have received tweaks and updates. The changes for each of these moves have been highlighted in the chart below:

Spark	Electric	Will change from six power in trainer battles to five.
Seed Bomb	Grass	Trainer battles power will increase from 60 to 65.
Swift	Normal	Energy cost will be decreased. Trainer battle power will decrease from 60 to 55.
Thunder Punch	Electric	Will become available for Typhlosion, Riolu, Lucario, Scraggy, Scrafty, Chesnaught, Pawmo, and Pawmot.
Counter	Fighting	Will become available for Lokix.
Powder Snow	Ice	Will become available for Cetoddle and Cetitan.
Dragon Claw	Dragon	Will become available for Naganadel.
Swift	Normal	Will become available for Clefairy, Clefable, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Teddiursa, Ursaring and Ursaluna.
Fly	Flying	Will become available for Fearow, Salamence, Swoobat and Swanna.
