Pokemon GO's Halloween Event is nearly over, which means players should be taking full advantage of the bonuses and special tasks while they can for the next 48 hours. As the Halloween-themed event comes to a close, some players are worried that they may not finish the Special Research tasks in time. Not to worry, these tasks aren't going to be disappearing on November 1 if players have already started them.

The wording surrounding the Special Research explained that players needed to talk to Professor Willow by 1pm on November 1 before the limited-time Special Research goes away, but it wasn't clear if the tasks needed to be started or completed by that deadline. Luckily, Niantic has confirmed it's the second option.

The tasks do take a while for casual players, since they need to first Berry 108 Pokemon and then catch 108 Pokemon in the second step. Players should be sure to chat with Willow before the deadline if they haven't started the Special Research tasks yet.
