Of the five regions that players are able to visit in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the Cobalt Coastland is perhaps the most interesting. 96 of the game's 242 species of Pokemon are tracked in the region's section of the Pokedex, which is more than any of the other regions'. This huge variety of Pokemon makes it a fascinating place to explore, though finding all of the 96 species that reside there isn't going to be easy.
In fact, due to the way that Pokemon Legends: Arceus adds entire evolutionary lines to a region's section of the Pokedex even when not all of them can be found there, it's technically impossible. On top of that, neither Phione nor Manaphy is included in the Cobalt Coastlands section of the Pokedex despite both of them appearing there during Request #66.
Updated June 15, 2022, by Tom Bowen: It's now been a little under six months since the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. During that time, most players have managed to finish the game's main story, though not everyone has been able to fully complete the Pokedex and catch the game's titular Pokemon, Arceus. 96 of the game's 242 Pokemon show up in the Cobalt Coastlands section of the Hisui Pokedex, making it a great hunting ground for those looking to fill out those pages and increase their Galaxy Team rank. The region is also home to some powerful Alpha Pokemon, as well as a few Pokemon that can only be found inside its Space-Time distortions.

Alpha Pokemon in the Cobalt Coastlands
There are 18 fixed-spawn Alpha Pokemon in the Cobalt Coastlands, most of which are level 50 or higher. This makes it a rather dangerous region for players to explore, though provides some great opportunities for leveling up one's team if they happen to be a little under-leveled. The pick of the bunch is probably Empoleon, who, together with the other two members of the Piplup evolution line, is found exclusively along the area's shores.

Space-Time Distortions
Though only Vaporeon and Flareon are included in the Cobalt Coastlands section of the Hisui Pokedex, there are actually thirteen Pokemon that could show up in the area's Space-Time Distortions. Of these thirteen, Magneton and Magnemite are exclusive to the region's distortions, as too is Vaporeon. The three Pokemon belonging to the Magneton line are all rare spawns, meaning that they'll show up a lot less often than the other ten Pokemon.
