There are a bunch of collectibles to find throughout Lumiose City in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and Colorful Screws are some of the most important things you can find. These can be exchanged for special items that give your Pokemon passive buffs in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but you have to bring them to the right place.

If you're mashing through the dialogue in the early stages of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you may miss the introduction of Colorful Screws entirely. Where to Exchange Colorful Screws in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Racine Construction

Colorful Screws can be exchanged at Racine Construction for Canari Plushes. These special plush toys give passive buffs to you and your Pokemon team, including boosted XP gains and catch rates.

Racine Construction is located on the outer ring of Lumiose City on the southeastern edge of the city. To get there, fast travel to the Pokemon Center near Wild Zone 1. Then, just follow the road east until you reach Racine Construction.

Colorful Screw Exchange

The Colorful Screws exchange worker is located at the entrance to the building, but you can also go inside Racine Construction to register it as a fast travel point so you can return more easily later on.

There are five Canari Plushes to choose from in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and each of them provides a different bonus effect. You can also upgrade the potency of their buffs by trading in more Colorful Screws. The prices start at three Colorful Screws each, but successive upgrades have heftier price tags.

Colorful Screw Location

Colorful Screws are typically found at construction sites throughout Lumiose City, especially on scaffolding and other climbable areas. You'll be able to spot them from a distance. Keep an eye out for glowing purple Poke Balls while you're exploring the city. You can also find other rare items like Tiny Mushrooms while exploring in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
