In addition to exploring Kalos' lore in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, there is another piece of history that could be worth looking into. Looker is a character that debuted in Pokemon Platinum, and has made a few additional appearances in later games. He is a detective for the International Police who has crossed paths with multiple protagonists over the course of his investigations. Since the Looker Bureau, which he uses as a headquarters, is located in Lumiose City, there's a possibility for his predecessor to appear in the game. In fact, Looker's history could be worked into the game in a few notable ways.

Looker's Ancestor Could Be the Latest to Appear in Pokemon Legends

It's possible that much in the fashion of the ancestors seen in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players could encounter Looker's own ancestors or one of the previous holders of his title. After all, Looker himself grants the title to the protagonist of Pokemon X and Y after they assist him in his investigations in that game. In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Looker's predecessor could prove to be a character with a similar role to Looker himself. They could have an investigation that the protagonist gets wrapped up in. This could act as a source of side missions, or be tied into the game's main plot.

Looker's Predecessors Could Play an Important Role in Lumiose's History

Looker's ancestors could also play a major role. Similar to how the protagonist joined Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Galaxy Expedition Team, they could join the original version of what would eventually become the Looker Bureau or International Police. The player could then go on to take on investigations that make up the plot of the game, exploring more of the area surrounding Lumiose City and solving any mysteries that crop up. The modern Looker Bureau being in Lumiose itself only strengthens this theory. There is a decent chance that Looker could be connected to Pokemon Legends: Z-A's equivalent to the Galaxy Expedition Team.
